Filippo (Milan, 1777 — Côme, 1871), created numerous romantic ballets (la Sylphide, 1832; la Fille du Danube, 1836).
His daughter, Marie (Stockholm, 1804 - Marseille, 1884 ), started in Vienna in 1822. She became famous in Italy, Germany and France and influenced the Ballet by her stunning pure dancing style. |
