Superb album of black and white photographs taken by the greatest ballet photographers of the 1960’s, retracing the birth of ballet inspired by the “Dame aux Camélias” by choreographer F. Ashton. During their lifetime, the Fonteyn-Nureyev couple were the only dancers to perform this ballet.
