  NUREYEV'S SWAN LAKE

December 12th - January 12th 2006
PARIS OPERA BASTILLE
Paris' Opera Bastille presents the Nureyev's Swan Lake production after Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov. In his choreography, Nureyev gives a more prominent place to the main male character, Prince Siegfried, and reintroduced the character of Wolfgang, the Prince's tutor. Moreover, the ballet acquired a definite freudian approach by conceiving it as Siegfried's dream.
