The Foundation was established by Rudolf Nureyev during his lifetime to promote, protect and preserve his legacy and his choreographic repertoire. We are privileged to take on this responsibility. The continued performance of his ballets fulfils his wish, that his memory live on: enabling the Foundation, in Nureyev’s name, to support the next generation of talent, celebrate his contribution to ballet and advance the health, wellbeing and safeguarding of dancers around the world.
